Mile Building Course
£285 per person (minimum of 2 required)
Cruise along the South Coast - the Isle of Wight to Weymouth / Portland approx 120 nautical miles. During the trip you can practice navigation techniques learnt in your theory classes.
The day is a long one so bear in mind you will need food; tea and coffee is supplied. The aim will be to cover approx 120 nautical miles in a day, part of this will be made in the dark so ideal to practice IRPCS.
You will be accompanied by a Yachtmaster Instructor (Power) who can help during the planning stages and during the trip these miles can count towards your Yachtmaster Coastal and Yachtmaster Offshore Certificates of Competence and the Instructor will sign your log book.
These courses run on the last weekend of every month and we can take a maximum of 5 students if booking 3 or more students the fee is reduced to £200.
